Fair Play Rules

Account rules, trading limits, chat conduct, alliance integrity, and how enforcement works.

Related in Game Rules: Fair Play Rules

Karadiyar is a competitive world of real players. To keep the game fair for everyone, these rules apply to every account. Breaking them can lead to warnings, loss of progress, chat bans, account suspension, or permanent removal.

If anything here is unclear, ask on our Discord server before you take a risk.

Enforcement

The Karadiyar team reviews reports and automated signals before acting. When we punish an account, we rely on clear evidence. Serious actions are double-checked.

Depending on the violation, consequences may include:

  • A written warning by private message
  • Removal of gold, items, honour, league progress, or other assets
  • Temporary or permanent chat ban
  • Account freeze while an investigation runs
  • Permanent account closure (admin kill)
  • IP or device restrictions for repeat abuse

We reserve the right to change these rules without prior notice.

One account per player

You may have only one active character per person. Secondary accounts used to spy, funnel resources, manipulate wars, or bypass cooldowns are not allowed.

If duplicate accounts are confirmed, they may all be removed. Report suspected dupes through Discord or in-game support.

Shared households and IP addresses

Family members or roommates may play from the same home network. That alone is not cheating, but you must keep accounts fully separate:

  • Never share passwords
  • Never share email addresses or phone numbers between accounts
  • Never log in on devices known to belong to cheaters or bot operators

Automatic enforcement

Players who share the same IP address and perform advantage-giving actions for one another may have their accounts closed automatically. The game monitors patterns such as:

  • Transferring items through the Auction Hall
  • Joining the same group quest together
  • Belonging to the same alliance
  • Fighting each other in PvP
  • Attempting murder against one another
  • Running seafaring treasure hunts or discovery sails together
  • Any similar interaction that clearly benefits another account on your IP

Do not arrange unfair transfers between accounts on the same IP: no rigged trades, no alliance vault laundering, no planned group quest slots filled only to help another of your accounts.

Breaking even one of these rules can lead to action on every account involved.

Account sharing and takeover

Your account belongs to you alone.

  • Letting someone else play your character is account sharing and is forbidden.
  • Logging into someone else's account is also forbidden, and both accounts may be removed.
  • Taking over a character created by another person (bought, borrowed, or inherited outside the game's rebirth system) is not allowed.

Remote-desktop tools such as TeamViewer or AnyDesk used while playing Karadiyar are treated as sharing risk and may result in removal.

VPN and proxy use

Playing through a VPN or proxy to hide your location or evade enforcement is not allowed. If you must use one for an exceptional reason, contact support before logging in with full details. Unauthorized VPN/proxy use can lead to permanent closure.

Real-money trading (black market)

Karadiyar is not a commercial marketplace. It is forbidden to buy or sell for real money:

  • Game accounts or characters
  • In-game gold, Dunmir, items, or crops
  • Premium time or store purchases transferred for cash outside official channels

Accounts involved in real-money trading, even as buyers, may be permanently removed. Only buy through the in-game Premium screen or the official Karadiyar Web Shop.

In-game trading abuse

These patterns are forbidden even when no real money is involved:

  • Wash trading on the Auction Hall to move gold without fair value
  • Funding accounts: characters existing only to send earnings to another player through vault deposits, poker-style transfers, rigged trades, or murder loot pipelines
  • Cross-server or external trading of goods not supported by the game (Karadiyar has a single world. Do not broker trades for other games or services)

Normal player-to-player trades at fair prices are fine. Organized feeding is not.

Bots, tools, and automation

You may not use bots, macros, scripts, auto-clickers, or third-party tools that play the game for you, fully or partially. This includes tools that automate quests, travel, fights, chat, or market listings.

If you build a companion app (for example a Discord stats bot), you need written permission from the team before it touches live gameplay data or player actions.

Bug abuse

Exploiting bugs for personal gain is forbidden. If you discover a bug (duplicated gold, broken cooldowns, free items, or unintended combat outcomes), report it through Discord or support immediately instead of using it.

Repeat or large-scale bug abuse is treated as cheating.

Character and alliance names

Names must not be offensive, hateful, political, impersonating staff, or designed to harass other players. The team may force a rename or choose one for you.

Alliance names follow the same standards. If you are told to change a name after a punishment, do not troll the replacement; we may assign a random name instead.

Name changes:

  • Voluntary renames use the Name Changer store item (one use per account).
  • Typos and rule-breaking names may be corrected by staff when reported.

Chat and communication

Global and alliance chat must stay civil. The following are prohibited:

  • Hate speech, slurs, harassment, threats, or sexual content
  • Doxxing: posting another person's private real-world information
  • Spam, scams, and advertising other games or services
  • Evading a chat ban with alt accounts

See Moderation and Daily Reset for rate limits and flagging. Chat rules apply to profiles and alliance tags as well.

In-game threats and rivalries must stay inside the game. Extorting real-world action is never acceptable.

Alliance integrity

Alliances are expected to compete fairly.

  • Do not use duplicate or cheat accounts to fill roster slots, reset membership caps, or inflate siege numbers.
  • Peace treaties must be genuine. Do not use diplomacy to spy while planning a breach; peace cannot be broken early by design.
  • Alliance officers who knowingly harbor cheaters share responsibility.

When members are removed for cheating, their past contributions to alliance power may be reversed automatically.

Identity checks

If we suspect serious cheating, we may ask you to verify your identity or explain unusual activity. Refusal to cooperate can be treated as a fair-play violation.

Appeals and reports

If you disagree with a punishment, contact the team privately through Discord or official support. Do not argue ban details in global chat. Persistence there may extend a mute.

To report cheaters, dupes, harassment, or bugs, use the same channels. Include character names, times, and screenshots when possible.

Play hard, play smart, and play fair. Karadiyar lasts longer when the war is fought with honour, even on the evil side.
