When you attempt murder, the game compares both players through Character Power before deciding the result. No single stat wins alone; your total combat readiness matters.
What affects Character Power
- Your base combat stats: attack, armor, speed, and bravery
- Equipped item types and their upgrade levels
- Dragon attack, armor, speed, and dragon health
- Total stat contribution from your guards
- Hero bonus active in your current city
- House bonus if you own a house in your current city
- Race-matching city bonus
- Alliance headquarters bonus in opposite-side matchups
- Total experience (XP)
- All five skills: Hunting, Smithing, Animal Taming, Seafaring, Farming
- Current health status
- Luck effects, including Horseshoe
- Active farming attack buffs (for example Blood Rose)
- Vengeance boost in revenge encounters
Important notes
- The game uses a full combined comparison, not one isolated stat
- High gear helps, but health, skills, dragon, guards, and buffs still matter
- After pressing kill, the attacker enters murder cooldown
