The Hitlist (Fight screen → Hitlist) is Karadiyar's public bounty board. Anyone can put gold on another player's head. The listing stays visible until it is rescued, the target dies, or a successful murder kill pays the hunter.

You cannot post on yourself, on Roleplayer Mode targets, on dead characters, on hidden accounts (admin or frozen), or on characters younger than 3 days. Targets in the cellars, in war, in the kraken, or under a peace treaty between your alliances can still receive listings; murder rules still apply when someone tries to collect through a kill.

Posting a bounty

  1. Open Fight → Hitlist and tap Post listing.
  2. Enter the target name and the reward gold shown on the board (what the killer or rescuer pays against).
  3. Confirm. Gold is deducted from your balance immediately.

Minimum reward scales with the target's level: level × 500 gold (for example level 4 → at least 2,000 gold).

Anonymous listings cost 50% more at post time (you pay reward × 1.5). Other players see Anonymous instead of your name.

The target receives a private message and push when a new bounty is placed on them (the poster stays hidden if the listing is anonymous).

Multiple listings on one head

Several players can bounty the same target at once. Each row is separate.

  • Murder kill payout: If you kill the target through a successful murder outcome (target dies), you receive the sum of all open rewards on that character in one payment. Each poster who still had a living character gets a private message that their listing was fulfilled.
  • Rescue: Bail removes one row. You pay that row's reward gold; the gold is removed from the economy (it does not return to the poster, who already paid when posting).

Rescue (bail)

Any free player with enough gold can tap Rescue on a row, confirm, and pay that listing's reward gold to remove it from the board. The poster is notified that bail cleared their listing.

Rescue is useful to protect an ally, cancel your own mistake, or clear stale entries without fighting.

Murder and the Hitlist

Only a murder kill that actually kills the defender triggers the combined bounty payout. Tracking, safe zones, and power outcomes still apply; see Murder: Full Guide.

The payout happens in the same server transaction as the kill, before death is applied to the victim. You still loot half of the victim's carried gold through the normal murder rules.

Murder outcomes where no one dies (draw, Captain's Sacrifice, attacker dies, and so on) do not pay Hitlist gold.

When the target dies for other reasons

If the target dies through war, PvP, events, or any other path that applies character death, all open Hitlist rows on that character are removed at that moment.

Those deaths do not pay the bounty to anyone. Posters already spent their gold when they created the listing; the reward was only promised for a murder kill that finishes the target.

Practical tips

  • Sort the board by date or reward gold.
  • Listings are global, not per city; you still must meet murder location and track rules to collect through killing.
  • After posting or rescuing, your gold in the header updates from the server response.
