Karadiyar has four major castles shown in both the Castles list and castle banners on the city screen.
- Tharum (training): gives alliance members 200 XP per hour.
- Eldermere (resource): gives alliance members 5 wood and 5 iron per hour.
- Snagh'gul (economy): gives alliance members 100 gold per hour and adds 200 gold to alliance vault each hour.
- Narthalion (dragon): an elven watchtower at the Dragon Caves. Each hour, dragons owned by alliance members gain +1 attack, +1 armor, and +1 speed (each stat stops rising at 400).
All governed castles also grant +1 honor per hour to active alliance members.
Each castle card shows location, siege status, and controlling alliance. Castle detail screens also show the countdown to the next reward tick.
Stability
Every castle has a stability score from 0 to 100 (full strength starts at 100). Stability reflects how secure the fortress is after covert disruption.
- Sabotage: a successful attack sabotage in the castle city lowers stability by 1.
- Hourly tick: when rewards are due, the server rolls against the current stability. Higher stability means a better chance that members receive that hour's gold, XP, materials, or dragon bonuses. If the roll fails, that hour's payout is missed and a system message may warn the realm.
- Recovery: after each hourly check, stability climbs back by a random amount (10–40), capped at 100.
A castle under constant sabotage can miss several reward ticks before it recovers. Defenders should watch stability on the castle detail screen; rivals weaken a banner by chipping away at it between sieges.
