Wights are deadly solo foes on Fights → PvE. They obey the same health, cooldown, captive, and Illumara rules as the bandit, but they only walk the roads during Karadiyar evening and night.

When you can fight

Times follow Karadiyar UTC (the same day parts as the rest of the world):

WindowHours (UTC)
Evening18:00 to 22:00
Night22:00 to 04:00

At dawn, morning, and noon the wight card vanishes. Attempts outside the window fail.

Difficulty

Tap the wight → Difficulty Level. Three paths:

  • Corrupted: the safest choice; modest spoils.
  • Brute: a harder fight; better pay if you endure.
  • Elite: the gravest risk; the richest victory if fortune favours you.

Your true odds shift a little from day to day, like the bandit's mood. The sheet shows your chance to win for the tier you pick. A chest artifact can steady your hand against NPC enemies.

Victory

Win and you take gold and experience, though never without shedding some health. You may also recover ordinary gear suited to the difficulty you chose. Rarely, a legendary artifact answers your victory. The higher the tier you dared, the more whispered the relic's name becomes. Details and relic names live on Drop Sources.

A Horseshoe is said to sweeten both common loot and those almost-mythical artifact moments.

When an artifact is yours, the game celebrates with the usual relic fanfare instead of the normal fight result window. Other loot still reaches your inventory.

Defeat

No gold. A sliver of experience all the same. Health falls hard.

The wight's curse lingers: healing houses and the wandering healer refuse you until the wound settles. The Healing screen warns you when the curse still binds you.

Gear may be damaged, as after other harsh NPC brawls.

Alliance contracts

Alliance daily boards sometimes ask members to defeat wights in bulk (10, 20, or 30 in a day, depending on the contract). Only wins count toward those goals.

Tips

  • Use the Karadiyar Calendar to see evening and night in your timezone.
  • Do not pick Elite on a whim; read the win chance on the sheet first.
  • After a loss, visit Healing before you march to war. The curse outlasts pride.
